The news about Yash Raj films trying to purchase the Hindi remake rights of this film is known so, as and when the film would be made, who would be Arundhati? Rumor was rift that Asin would be asked to play this role, but that news has remained a mere rumor and Asin is surely not playing that role, so who is on the cards then?
It is now being speculated that Shilpa Shetty has been approached to play the role of Arundhati and Shilpa has agreed.
Many feel that Shilpa Shetty with her dancing abilities and expressive eyes is the obvious correct choice for the role, and they add that she would be able to do full justice also, her newly acquired international image would also make a great impact they say.
