The NTR award for 2007 is announced and politician, film director and film producer Dasari Narayana Rao has been selected for this prestigious award. Incidentally, Dasari produced many hit films featuring NTR before NTR entered politics. His Bobbili Puli and Sardar Paparayudu played an important role in NTR's political entry and growth.
Dasari Narayana Rao has directed about 150 films, produced 53 films and worked in above 250 films as a dialogue writer and lyricist. He has also acted in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. He has been honoured with many awards in his career.
Veteran producer Tammareddy Krishna Murthy will be given the Raghupati Venkaiah award for 2007. The awards will be presented during the Nandi awards presentation ceremony.
