Petite beauty Genelia who is known for her pretty looks with innocent face seems to be desperately looking for a change. Latest news is that Genelia wants to portray different roles and she told that now she wants to entertain audience with bit of action roles and she is serious about doing such roles.

So, what Genelia would be offering us is flying in air with some flying kicks and beating the goons to black and blue. End of the day what is more important is that interest of Genelia should be given an opportunity by the producers and audience should accept the new role and applaud for the same. Good luck for this one Genny..

Genelia’s mini skirt

Genelia’s micromini caused problems of traffic jams when huge crowds assembled to see her in the sexy avatar in Mumbai. All this happened when the young lady was shooting for the promo of her upcoming film with Shahid Kapoor.

Apparently, the actress stepped out onto the roads in her micromini in the hope that no one would notice, but this is India, as soon as people saw her in this attire, they started crowding her, and the entire plac,e to have a look at the beautiful thighs.

It took a lot of time to shoo away the curious onlooker, only then could the photo-shoot be completed.

Genelia ready to take on the baddies

With her big eyes, Innocent smile and vivacious acting style, Genelia D’Souza is apt for the title Miss World Bubbly. She is the Darling of the media and masses alike with her baby face and naughty ways.

But when it comes to films, she is no longer a baby in the industry. Genelia has been acting since 2003 and that takes her into the genre of senior actresses who have the acting experience of over five years. But despite her seniority, Genelia, in all her films, has played the same role, that of a young and vulnerable girl.

Genelia is now the official teen queen across the board. She started her career with Boys directed by Shankar, then appeared in several films in Telugu, including Bommarillu opposite Siddharth. Genelia's mother has now given up her plum job at a pharma company to manage her daughter's career. What makes top directors gravitate towards casting Genelia is her ability to breathe fresh air into any role she is challenged with. 

So now, in the sixth year of her career, it does not come as a surprise if she complains she is tired of being typecast and wants to do something different. She has set her eyes on hard-core action roles. She wants to take on the bad guys and do some fabulous stunt scenes. It will be interesting to see if any film makers are interested in this suggestion.

Genelia in 'No Bikini Club'

When it comes to bold swimsuit acts, "If Namitha and Nayantara can, why can't we?" seems to be the general attitude among some South Indian actresses! With the increasing number of actresses stepping into 'wear a swimsuit/ bikini and catapult to the top in a short time' trend, Kollywood and Tollywood film industries can boast of a 'Swimsuit Club'!

Dusky beauties Priyamani and Anushka are the recent entrants in this club that boasts of Namitha, Nayantara, Malavika, Nagma, Rambha, Reshma, Sonam, Tejasri, Jyotika, Rakshita, Medha, Bhumika Chawla and several other famous names. What do all these beauties have to say? A unanimous "If the role demands it, I am willing to appear in a swimsuit/ revealing attire." 

Priyamani, who has had a girl-next-door image among audiences, has recently shown a drastic change in her attitude by appearing a bikini in Nitin's latest Telugu film Drona. Anushka is also ready to wear a two-piece bikini, Nayantara style, in Prabhas's forthcoming film Billa (Telugu).

Of course, this trend is sure to ruffle a few feathers, especially among actresses who have been doing sweet, simple, girl-next-door roles. We have seen the likes of Meenakshi going in for a complete image change, from simple to oomph in her recent movies Perumal and TN 07 AL 4777. It is heard that Genelia too was approached to don a bikini, but she refused. Genelia prefers to be in the 'No Bikini Club' along with Trisha, who has also stayed away from donning a bikini in films.

But being a part of the no-bikini club has not reduced the offers for these girls. Genelia is currently busy with three exciting projects in Bollywood: It's My Life (remake of Bomarillu), Govinda's Life Partner and the cricket film Hook Ya Crook opposite John Abraham. Today, despite her young age, this charming beauty is firmly established in Bollywood among other biggies.

Trisha proved time and again that she is the Numero Uno of Tamil and Telugu films. Her recent hits Abhiyum Naanum in Tamil and King in Telugu have consolidated her top position, so she feels no necessity to appear in near-topless outfits! Her forthcoming films Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Sarvvam portray her in roles with substance.
