Balakrishna's Political tour starts from today

The stage is set for the launch of film actor N Balakrishna's poll campaign from Hindupur in Anantapur district from today(Jan 29th).. TDP sources said that Balakrishna would start his campaign at 9 am every day and end after 10 pm. He would be holding roadshows only and there would be no public meetings.

Contrary to Chandrababu Naidu's style of delivering long speeches, Balakrishna would limit his speeches to a maximum of 15 minutes and will cover all the assembly constituencies in Anantapur district. The first leg would end on February 7.

The campaign would focus on the problems being faced by the people and the solutions the TDP would offer if voted to power. Balakrishna will recall how his father and founder president of TDP N T Ramarao had revolutionised the state politics and the various welfare measures he had taken up during his long tenure.

Balakrishna would take up the second leg of campaign from February 17 in Telangana region. Asked if he would contest the polls from Hindupur, sources said that Balakrishna had never expressed his desire to contest the polls. The delay in bringing in Jr NTR and other NTR scions for campaign was a strategic move. Jr NTR, Kalyanram, Tarakratna and Harikrishna would jump into the campaign fray from February end or first week of March.
