Balakrishna said that the marriage of his father NTR with Lakshmi Parvathi is not legal. But Lakshmi Parvathi condemned it and said that Balakrishna is talking in insulting way about his father. 

She said that she got divorce from Veeragandham Subba Rao on 15th April 1993 and married NTR on September 11th as per Hindu Marriage Act. She also recalled that NTR publicly announced that he would marry her if she agrees on 10th September just a day before the marriage. She declared that she didn't marry NTR for his properties. 

"Even the court made me a member in Basavatarakam Trust considering me as family member", she added.
