Apart from this Siddhartha also agreed to do a flick in Allari Ravibabu's direction, which is an action thriller. This movie is said to be similar to Hrithik Roshan's "Lakshya". For these movies Siddhartha wants to develop a six-pack body. It is said that he will obtain training from Aamir Khan's personal physical trainer. But I’m glad I could meet Chiranjeevi gaaru because of Magadheera. He said he loved my performance after watching the premiere,” she gushes. And Kajal credits the success of the film to its script — a period-cum-modern day love story — Rajamouli’s direction, the graphics, cinematography and sheer extravagance of the film. “Also, Charan is a fabulous actor and an awesome dancer. Magadheera distributor faces suspension

Vijayakumar, the distributor of Magadheera, is to be suspended by the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) as per the president, Dr. Jayamala’s decision (in consultation with the other members of the KFCC in a meeting held on Wednesday). The suspension order has come after Vijayakumar violated the rules of the Chamber by releasing Magadheera in more theatres than permitted. On Tuesday, more than 30 Kannada producers from the Kannada Film Producers’ Association (KFPA) protested in front of the KFCC against non-Kannada movies, including Magadheera. According to them, the distributors of the non-Kannada films were expanding the business of their big budget films by increasing their screening opportunities in Karnataka. Non-Kannada films can be screened only in 14 single screen theatres and three multiplexes in Bangalore and four other centers in the state simultaneously, according to KFCC rules. The film should be released seven weeks after its official release. Magadheera defied the rules and released in 51 theatres directly after its Andhra Pradesh release. Vijayakumar, who bought the distribution rights of Magadheera for 1.5 crores, has already earned 4 crores in the first week itself, according to sources.

Ajith-Trisha’s swine flu break

The cast and crew of Ajith-starrer Asal returned to Chennai from Malaysia due to the spread of influenza A (H1N1) virus. They were shooting there for the past month. Saran is directing the film and Sivaji Productions is producing it. As of now, it’s not known whether they will go back to Malaysia again for the rest of the shooting. The crew has also cancelled shooting schedules in Turkey, Italy and Ireland. The shooting of Telugu film Shankam that has Gopichand and Trisha in the lead has also been stalled for now. The film’s unit was reportedly planning to shoot in US and Australia, but have cancelled it because of swine flu scare. Trisha is enjoying the unexpected holiday from her hectic schedule.

Nayantara declines Mani Ratnam’s offer! in Raavan

Recently actress Nayantara said No to Mani Ratnam’s much hyped Tamil, Telugu and Hindi trilingual film Raavan. Sources in the industry have said that the actress was approached by Suhasini Mani Ratnam with an offer to act in the mega project as Raavan’s wife Mandotharai. However, the actress was unable to accept the offer, due to the minimal scope for her character in the film. Nayantara said, “Yes it’s true. Suhasini Mani Ratnam called me when I was in South Africa, shooting for Aadhavan, featuring Surya. They wanted me to do Mandodhari’s role in Raavan. However, I haven’t been able to accept the offer because of date problems and some other personal reasons. It’s a great honour to have got an offer from Mani sir. But unfortunately, situations have stopped me from accepting it."
