Allu Arjun’s Vedam launched

Starring Allu Arjun and Anushka together for the first time, Vedam was launched on June 12 at Cinemax, Hyderabad. S.S. Rajamouli sounded the clapboard, Tammareddy Bharadwaja switched on the camera and K. Ragavendra Rao directed the first shot.

Krish, of much-acclaimed Gamyam fame, is directing the film; Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are jointly making this film under the banner of Arka Media Works.

Speaking about the film, director Krish said: "The movie revolves around five characters: Allu Arjun, Manoj Manchu, Anushka and Manoj Bajpayee. The shooting of film will be complete by the end of this year."

M.M. Keeravani scores music for lyrics written by Seetharama Shastry and E.S. Murthy. Jnanashekar is the cameraman.
